These Terms of Service govern the use of vaeliva.com. VAELIVA is an editorial interior-design platform offering inspiration, AI-assisted visualisations and curated Shop the Look product references. VAELIVA does not sell the featured products and does not operate an online shop.

1. Operator and Scope

These Terms apply when you access or use vaeliva.com (the “Website”). Mandatory rights and protections provided by applicable law remain unaffected.

2. Purpose of VAELIVA

VAELIVA is an editorial and inspirational platform focused on interior design, architecture, aesthetics, materials, lighting, living spaces and related creative content.

The Website may provide design worlds, house and room concepts, articles, AI-generated or AI-assisted visualisations, material studies and curated product recommendations through Shop the Look pages.

VAELIVA does not currently provide public user accounts, paid memberships, subscription services or direct online purchases through the Website.

3. Informational and Inspirational Content

Content published on VAELIVA, including images, concepts, layouts, descriptions, articles, material combinations and product selections, is provided primarily for general information, editorial inspiration and visual reference.

The Website does not provide professional architectural, structural, engineering, construction, electrical, plumbing, safety, legal, tax or other specialist advice. Design concepts must not be treated as construction plans, technical drawings, installation instructions or professional specifications.

Before carrying out structural alterations, construction work, electrical installations or other significant modifications, users should consult appropriately qualified professionals and verify applicable building, safety and product requirements.

4. AI Generated and AI Assisted Content

VAELIVA uses artificial-intelligence technologies as part of its editorial and creative process. Images, visualisations, concepts, descriptions, product placements or other content may be generated, modified or assisted by artificial intelligence.

Although VAELIVA applies editorial review and quality-control processes, AI-generated or AI-assisted content may contain inaccuracies, visual artefacts or inconsistencies. These may include:

  • unrealistic dimensions, proportions or spatial relationships;
  • structural, electrical or construction inconsistencies;
  • inaccurate colours, materials, reflections, textures or lighting effects;
  • products shown at an incorrect scale or with altered shapes, finishes, details or components;
  • furniture or architectural elements that are illustrative or not commercially available; and
  • concepts that cannot be manufactured, installed or reproduced exactly as shown.

VAELIVA does not guarantee that an AI-generated concept can be physically constructed, manufactured or reproduced exactly as depicted.

5. Product and Material References

Furniture, lighting, materials, finishes, architectural elements and other objects depicted or described by VAELIVA may be illustrative. Unless a product is expressly linked and identified, its appearance does not mean that the exact item exists commercially or that VAELIVA has a relationship with its manufacturer or retailer.

Where a real product is linked on a Shop the Look page, the room visualisation may still be AI-generated. The depicted item may differ from the original product in shape, scale, proportion, colour, surface, light output, installation details or other characteristics.

The linked retailer’s product image, description, dimensions, technical documentation, safety information, price and availability are the authoritative references for a purchasing or installation decision. Users should verify all relevant information directly with the retailer and, where appropriate, with a qualified installer.

6. Affiliate Relationships and Advertising Disclosure

VAELIVA participates as a publisher in the Awin affiliate network and currently uses affiliate links for Lampenwelt Austria and Lampenwelt Switzerland. These links form part of VAELIVA’s commercial funding model.

If you follow an affiliate link and complete a qualifying transaction, VAELIVA may receive a commission from the relevant affiliate programme. VAELIVA does not set the final retail price or add a separate charge to the transaction. Prices and purchase conditions are determined by the relevant Lampenwelt shop.

Shop the Look pages and other commercial content are identified with a clear affiliate or advertising disclosure, using wording such as ‘Advertising’, ‘Affiliate link’ or an equivalent clear label.

Participation in an affiliate programme does not mean that VAELIVA acts as an employee, representative, agent, distributor or authorised reseller of Awin, Lampenwelt or a featured product brand. VAELIVA independently selects and presents its editorial recommendations, subject to the applicable affiliate programme conditions.

7. Purchases from Lampenwelt

Affiliate links may direct users through an Awin tracking domain to Lampenwelt Austria, Lampenwelt Germany or Lampenwelt Switzerland. VAELIVA does not operate either Lampenwelt shop.

Any product purchase, customer account or other transaction is concluded solely between the user and the legal entity operating the relevant Lampenwelt shop. Lampenwelt, not VAELIVA, is responsible for:

  • product descriptions, specifications and safety information;
  • prices, taxes, currencies, discounts and delivery charges;
  • product availability and delivery territories;
  • order acceptance, payment and invoicing;
  • shipping, delivery and customer service;
  • cancellations, withdrawal rights, returns, refunds and warranties; and
  • compliance of the product and transaction with the laws applicable to the relevant shop.

The terms, privacy policy and consumer information displayed by the relevant Lampenwelt shop apply to the transaction. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that a consumer may have against the retailer under mandatory law.

8. Prices Availability and Regional Differences

Product prices and availability displayed by VAELIVA may be obtained from affiliate feeds, retailer information or a recent editorial review. They can change after publication and may not update immediately.

Prices, currencies, taxes, delivery options, promotions and product ranges may differ between Lampenwelt Austria, Lampenwelt Germany and Lampenwelt Switzerland. The final and binding information is the information shown by the selected retailer before the order is placed.

VAELIVA does not guarantee that a product will remain available, that a displayed price will remain current, or that a retailer will deliver to a particular location.

9. Third Party Names Brands and Product Assets

VAELIVA content may refer to third-party products, brands, designers, manufacturers, retailers, websites or services. All third-party trademarks, product names and intellectual-property rights remain the property of their respective owners.

Product names, product images and related information may be supplied or made available through an affiliate network, retailer feed, licence or other authorised source. Their use is for product identification, editorial reference and affiliate promotion.

Except for relationships expressly disclosed on the Website, a reference to a third party does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, certification, partnership or affiliation.

10. VAELIVA Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its original content, including the VAELIVA name, branding, logo, visual identity, text, graphics, layouts, editorial concepts and original creative materials, are owned by or licensed to VAELIVA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The VAELIVA name, logo and visual identity may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation or partnership without prior written permission.

Users may access and view the Website for personal and non-commercial purposes. Without prior written permission from VAELIVA, users may not:

  • systematically reproduce substantial portions of the Website;
  • republish substantial parts of VAELIVA content on another website or platform;
  • sell, sublicense or commercially exploit VAELIVA content;
  • create or maintain a database consisting substantially of VAELIVA content;
  • remove or alter copyright, affiliate, AI-visualisation or other proprietary notices; or
  • use VAELIVA branding or content in a misleading manner.

Mandatory rights and exceptions permitted by applicable copyright law remain unaffected.

11. Social Media and Pinterest

VAELIVA may publish or distribute editorial content, AI-assisted visualisations, product references and links through Pinterest and other social-media platforms. Content displayed on those platforms may link back to the Website or to a specific VAELIVA house or Shop the Look page.

The availability, display, sharing, saving, commenting and other use of content on a third-party platform are also governed by that platform’s terms and policies. VAELIVA does not control the continued availability or presentation of content on a third-party platform.

Where a social-media post contains affiliate advertising or another material commercial relationship, VAELIVA will use a disclosure appropriate to the platform and context where required.

12. External Links

The Website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties, including Pinterest, Awin, Lampenwelt and other product manufacturers or retailers.

VAELIVA does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, products, services or privacy practices. Opening an external link is at the user’s discretion. When the user leaves vaeliva.com, the terms and privacy policies of the relevant third party apply.

13. Acceptable Use

Users must not use the Website in a manner that interferes with its normal operation, security or availability. In particular, users must not intentionally:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to Website systems, accounts or infrastructure;
  • introduce malware, harmful code or other disruptive technologies;
  • circumvent technical access restrictions or security measures;
  • use automated methods in a way that creates unreasonable load, disrupts the Website or violates applicable law;
  • scrape or extract content where doing so infringes rights or disregards an express technical restriction; or
  • use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or abusive purposes.

This section does not restrict automated access expressly authorised by VAELIVA or permitted by mandatory law.

14. Accuracy and Currency

VAELIVA aims to provide high-quality editorial content. However, VAELIVA does not guarantee that every item of information is complete, error-free or current at all times.

Interior-design trends, products, prices, materials, technologies, specifications, availability and external information can change. Users should independently verify information that is important to a purchasing, construction, financial, safety or other material decision.

15. Website Availability and Changes

VAELIVA aims to keep the Website available, secure and operational, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

VAELIVA may modify, temporarily restrict, suspend, remove or discontinue Website content or functionality where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, technical updates, security, legal, editorial or operational reasons. VAELIVA is not obliged to retain a particular design, article, product recommendation, house page or other item indefinitely.

16. No Guarantee of Design Results

VAELIVA does not guarantee that implementing a design concept, aesthetic approach, product selection, material choice or other idea presented on the Website will achieve a particular result.

Actual outcomes depend on factors including property dimensions, construction conditions, product specifications, materials, workmanship, lighting, budget, local regulations and professional implementation.

17. Limitation of Liability

VAELIVA is liable in accordance with mandatory applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, VAELIVA is not responsible for loss or damage resulting solely from reliance on content provided for general editorial, informational or inspirational purposes where independent verification or professional advice would reasonably have been required.

VAELIVA is not responsible for the performance of a contract between a user and Lampenwelt or another third-party retailer, or for a third party’s product, payment process, delivery, warranty, return handling, website availability or independent data processing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law. In particular, nothing restricts mandatory consumer-protection rights or liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or another category that cannot legally be limited.

18. Privacy and Cookies

The processing of personal data in connection with the Website, Pinterest campaign links and affiliate referrals is described in the VAELIVA Privacy Policy.

Information about cookies, consent choices and similar technologies is provided in the VAELIVA Cookie Policy and through the Website’s cookie settings.

19. Changes to These Terms

VAELIVA may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the Website, affiliate relationships, social-media integrations, editorial practices, services, legal requirements or technical operations.

The current version will be published on the Website with its effective date. For ordinary Website use, the version available at the time of use applies, subject to mandatory law.
